How long does an eCommerce website take to create?

Usually a new website can be up and running within 3-6 weeks but this is highly dependant on you being able to supply things like images and videos you want to include and also other content including text being ready.

The cost will generally depend on the amount of functionality you require and what you need the new website to do. Generally speaking eCommerce takes longer to build than a standard website and therefore is more expensive. Once we have spoken with you we create a proposal that details the project costs and what we'll need from you in order to hit all the deadlines. Once my new site is live is that it or can you help going forward?
Yes, we're a marketing agency at heart and can help on a monthly basis with many other services including updating and adding to your new website, adding products or blog posts and working on SEO to help your site become more visible. We can also offer other services like paid advertising through Google or platforms like Facebook and Instagram. We can help you by creating and publishing all your social media posts too. If you need a longer marketing plan that's something we need to know from the start so we can plan everything in for you to succeed.
Do the websites you design load quickly?
Yes, nowadays Google and other search engines rank websites by how fast they load and also by how easy they are to use. The theory is that the best websites show up higher in the search rankings although many other factors also play a part. We work hard to ensure that your new website is extremely fast to load especially on smaller screens and mobile phones so that your website visitors are impressed and are more likely to make an enquiry with you.
What about website hosting, do I need that?
We include the first years hosting of your website in the initial cost for free so that you're completely covered. You can choose to host your website wherever your like but we recommend the UK based company we use as we have hundreds of website with them and the service is excellent. We also customise the hosting environment which makes the websites we build load even faster.
Do you provide a security set up and SSL Certificates?
All the websites we build from scratch have extra layers of customised security built in which helps to stop cyber attacks and hacking. The websites we host are also provided with a free SSL Certificate which backs up your authority and trust with the padlock symbol appearing in website browsers when people visit your website.
Can you help me with business email accounts?
Yes, we can set up and provide business email accounts. Please ask us about this as we have separate services depending on how many email accounts you need to set up and related services like linked calendars, meetings, appointments and address books.
