Designing a property fund website

Living REIT is a listed real estate investment trust investing in specialist and supported social housing across the UK, managed by Atrato. Webshape was brought in to rebrand and rebuild the site from the ground up, giving the fund a modern, investor ready home online.

The result is a fully redeveloped WordPress site built on a flexible theme with interchangeable blocks, letting the Living REIT team manage day-to-day content themselves or hand updates to Webshape. Ongoing monthly maintenance keeps the site secure, current and performing.

As Social Housing REIT, the fund’s site carried an old identity that no longer matched its direction or the scale of its ambitions. The rebrand to Living REIT meant the website needed to change with it, not just visually but structurally.

The site also had to work harder for a wide range of visitors, from institutional and retail investors to housing association partners, analysts and media, each looking for something different. Documents and research needed to be easy to find, filter and trust.

Webshape rebuilt the site on WordPress with ACF, using a flexible theme made up of interchangeable content blocks. This gives the Living REIT team control over day-to-day updates, with Webshape on hand for anything more involved.

Key new features include a searchable document and research centre with upload and filtering powered by FacetWP, an interactive portfolio map built with Mapbox, dividend history tables with a dividend calculator, ESG and impact reporting, a live share price feed, and integrated regulatory news and corporate alert services. Together, these give every visitor, whether investor, partner or analyst, a clear route to the information they need.

Living REIT now has a site that matches its identity and its ambitions, giving investors, partners and analysts a single, well organised place to find what they need. Documents are searchable, the portfolio is easy to explore, and share price and regulatory updates are always current.

The site has been in active monthly maintenance with Webshape since October 2025, keeping it secure and up to date. With a flexible theme built on interchangeable blocks, Living REIT can manage most updates in house, calling on Webshape whenever more support is needed.
